Unopened jars stored in a cool, dark place will last up to two years, according to USDA guidelines. Once opened, refrigerate and we recommend consuming within 2 to 3 months.

Yes! We don't use any animal products in the production of our jams. They are also free of gluten (although not made in a gluten free facility). The ingredients are conveniently listed on each jar but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
At Yummy Lotus, “small batch” means we make our jams in intentional batch sizes instead of mass-producing them by the thousands. It lets us keep things fresh, consistent, and oh-so-yummy. We get to source the best ingredients (local and seasonal whenever possible), give every jar the love it deserves, and stay true to the flavor balance we’ve perfected. Small batch = big flavor, made with heart.
In addition to our 6oz jars, we offer 1.5oz mini jars which are perfect for weddings, parties, birthdays, showers, gifts and more. For our wholesale partners, we offer 32oz jar sizing -great for use in the kitchen.

All our jams are made without animal products, gluten, or soy and most of our products are nut free (check labels for details). If you have more questions, please do not hesitate to leave us a message on our contact page.
We protect our products by wrapping the jams and securing them leaving minimal wriggle room but that doesn't mean accidents don't happen and one of your delicious jars can show up broken. If this happens, contact us and we will be happy to replace the broken product. Please enclose photos of the damaged product for the shipping claim. Thank you

Jalapeño: 2,500–8,000 SHU (medium)
Serrano: 10,000–23,000 SHU (medium-hot)
Habanero: 100,000–350,000 SHU (hot)
Ghost Pepper: 800,000–1,000,000 SHU (very hot)
