These pinwheels are one of those recipes that feel impressive but come together fast — flaky, jammy, lightly sweet, and perfect for sharing. They’re a go-to for weekend baking with kids, last-minute gatherings, or when you want something warm and nostalgic without committing to a full pie.
Bonus: the house smells incredible while they bake.-2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
Why you’ll love them
Minimal prep, maximum payoff
Kid-friendly + adult-approved
Perfect for brunch boards, dessert spreads, or after-school treats
No pie crust drama required
Ingredients
(Serves 8–10)
2 tubes (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
3 cups finely chopped or thinly sliced peeled apples (tart varieties work best)
1 (6 oz) jar Yummy Lotus Apple Pie Jam
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Thinly slice apples into small strips or finely chop. (Green or tart apples work beautifully, but use what you have.)
Unroll each tube of crescent roll dough into a rectangle. Press seams together to seal perforations.
Spread an even layer of Apple Pie Jam over the dough.
Sprinkle sliced apples evenly on top.
Starting from a long edge, roll the dough up tightly, jelly-roll style.
Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and place cut-side up in the baking dish.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
Serve warm — straight from the dish or stacked on a serving board.
